Nakodar (Jalandhar), June 27, 2025: Solo Knacks Cineverse (Solo Knacks Cineverse) today, Friday, June 27, 2025, held an auspicious Muhurat ceremony for its highly anticipated new film “MAARRU” at Shri Hanuman Mandir in Nakodar. The event was graced by the entire film crew and several distinguished guests who offered prayers for the film’s success. The initial rituals of the Muhurat were meticulously performed by Pandit Sachin Ji. Lead actors Vandana Sandhu and A.K.B. (AKB) jointly lit the ceremonial lamp to commence the proceedings. Following this, actor Sarwan Hans gave the film’s Muhurat clap, and director Harsh Gogi performed the traditional coconut-breaking ritual.
Speaking to the media, director Harsh Gogi shared significant details about “MAARRU,” revealing it to be a suspense thriller designed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. He announced that shooting would commence as soon as the casting process is finalized. Gogi also highlighted that numerous pivotal scenes of “MAARRU” would be filmed against Nakodar’s picturesque backdrop, aiming to promote local art and culture. In an additional exciting announcement, Director Gogi revealed that his new short film, “Mental Rust,” is slated for release next month, on July 18. This thought-provoking film will specifically address the “mind virus” he believes is prevalent among government officers, tackling a timely and relevant subject. He also extended an open invitation to aspiring artists interested in working on “MAARRU” to reach out to him. “MAARRU” is planned for release in both cinemas and on OTT (Over-The-Top) platforms to ensure broad audience access.
The Muhurat ceremony was attended by director Harsh Gogi along with cast members Sunny Bhatti, Jasvir Jassi, Vandana Sandhu, Nirmal Rajpoot, Sarwan Hans, Chetan Atwal, Binder Hoshiarpuri, Amit Kumar, Tajwinder Chouhan, Sarbjeet Jeeta, Asha Gupta, Lekh Raj, Maahi Verma, Cameraman M.R. Lahoria, and Dr. Prince Mehra (Bird Ambulanceman Chandigarh), among others.
