Chandigarh, July 5, 2025 – On the auspicious occasion of Van Mahotsav 2025, 200 plant saplings were planted within a school premises with the aim of promoting environmental conservation and increasing greenery. The primary objective of this initiative is to beautify the school surroundings and instill environmental awareness among students. These saplings were strategically planted in the kitchen garden, herbal garden, and the general surrounding areas of the school. The NSS (National Service Scheme) Unit, in collaboration with the Eco Club, enthusiastically participated in the event. Students and staff members worked together to ensure the success of the tree-planting drive. On this occasion, the school principal highlighted the significance of Van Mahotsav, stating that such events are crucial for environmental preservation. They encouraged students to take care of the planted saplings and maintain a clean environment. This endeavor is expected not only to enhance the school’s immediate environment but also to educate future generations about the importance of greenery and a healthy ecosystem.
